RANT: Top Ten people who should never be in Hollywood... from now

2011 will never be a great year for movies because every movie chucked right at us are terrible and the people responsible for making these films is Hollywood. Hollywood used to be the epitome of what everyone wanted to be in the 20th Century. They want to be famous actors, directors making an income and clinging their Oscars. These days, I cannot imagine how it's free to be in Hollywood and do whatever you want with your movies no matter how bad it is and yet the studios don't even care. They're manipulating the public to such a sense of pleasure that it's hard to resist and dislike. They're damaging tastes and senses.

So here are the directors, actors, producers and people that makes up our entertainment industry who should take one step away from Hollywood.

10. Jennifer Aniston

I'm suprised that this actress, 40, is still doing movies when a) her personal life is being shoved down our throats through brief relationships and b) she plays the same character in every one of her movie. From 1994, she was considered a style icon revolutionising everybody's hair with the"Rachel"named after the character she plays in Friends. Now ever since Friends had it's finale and Aniston was dumped by Brad Pitt, she appears in countless rom-bombs like The Break Up, The Bounty Hunter and every movie starting with "The" I believe. And there's a pattern, no matter what movie she's in, she's seem to have an infactuation with her co-stars and the gossip mags get that from the fact that she's still an icon. Aniston, your time is up.

9. Michael Bay.

This dude is the most manipulative, misogynistic director I have ever heard. Look at his films like Bad Boys, Pearl Harbor and Transformers and you know what you get. This dude's bring his inner frat boy to life by bringing up explosions from tanks, robots and girls running with cleavage simultaneously. When he thinks we're about to walk out, he puts in an emotionally setimental scene that had us by the end saying "best movie ever" which is what every kid at my high school say and thinking he's the best director yet. And also he's the highest earning director with $500 million. That's a joke.

Ben Affleck, Scarlett Johansson had regrets with making films with you and so did Shia Labeouf. Even apologising for making the atrocious sequel to Transformers doesn't help. No wonder Megan Fox had went out...

8. Megan Fox

... which automatically makes her into this list as well. I don't get the whole hotness of her. Her face constantly change from eyelid surgery and since how did he become the attention of our dumb youth. Lindsay Lohan was better than her for crying out loud, in terms of acting (they both appear in Confessions Of A Drama Queen). Seeing that her latest films Jonah Hex and Passion Play both bombed critically and commercially, shows a true testament that a) she's not an actor b) we had enough of her and c) that she has no potential in show business given her negligable talent. But I still cannot believe that boys are still going gaga for her. What is wrong with them. There are better actresses currently working who are also hot at the same time (Zooey Deschanel, Natalie Portman, Jennifer Lawrence, Blake Lively are some examples)

7. Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer

God, do you have to bring these two nutjobs here and let them do whatever they want with no order. Keeping in fact they both turned into a franchise with every dead parody movie coming with Meet The Spartans, Disaster Movie, and Epic movie become box-office hits having a hint of what's popular and then putting it in their movies, I was frustrated and it wasn't funny at all. I had the same feelings when they release Vampires Suck, the Twilight parody. Not only did I felt so angry when it made Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World a disaster, but made Twilight more special to the haters in a good way. There's an online petition to make these two stop filming. I'm signing it right now.

6. Miley Cyrus

This so-called "singer" is starting a movie career when she already had a film based on her TV show Hannah Montana with The Last Song, then after that film, which is deservedly bashed, she smokes a bong and the next thing you'll know she will be appearing in the sequel The Last Bong. This girl came from Disney. What do you expect from these kids? They do the most stupid thing taking nude photos and drugs which is what she's doing at the moment. This girl can't sing and "Party In The USA" is supposed to be the dumbest anthem I've ever listened. She's a talentless nobody and 20 years from now we will regret for liking this girl. A message to her: you have all the money in the world and yet you spend the fame on shit. Now I'm going to scorn about Cyrus when she's coming to Australia.

5. Charlie Sheen

Recently the most creepiest rambling from this attention-seeking whore was when he asked Mila Kunis to become one of his goddesses. His goddesses are two porn stars and to tell you the truth the only way that we are going to stop Sheen is to ignore him no matter what kind of philosophy this whore will tell you. I had enough of Sheen when he's still not changing his ways from being both a junkie and a whore before and after Two And A Half Men. The dude had some potential in the 80s as this up and coming actor performing from Platoon to Wall Street. Now he's on a tour for no apparent reason other than to overly justify how he's winning. Why do some people feels that Sheen is an inspiration to their lives? Is it because living you life as an asshole is fun. Picking up girls is cool. Mr. Sheen, you're just a train wreck who couldn't stop.

4. The Academy members

The Academy had never been right for so long. OK. I confess. I was disappointed that The King's Speech won over The Social Network over the Oscars. The reason why TKS won was because of the voters and how they love feel good movies. These voters do not belong to the Academy but do they know anything about movies? No. This reminds me of how Forrest Gump tramped Pulp Fiction and how Crash won over Brokeback Mountain. Would TKS be considered one of the greatest movies of all time just because it won Best Picture. No.

3. Rob Schneider

I don't understand why this douche is given a lifetime free pass to let him do whatever he thinks its funny. COS IT'S NOT! Just because he work with Adam Sandler frequently doesn't help out. Schneider brings in all of the lowest forms of humor that is not only unfunny, but cruel as well.

Have you seen I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry where Schneider plays an Asian priest who conducts gay weddings? That's just brutal. When I saw Male Gigalo, probably his directorial debut, I just don't get it. Schneider should never be entitled as a director, a screenwriter or an actor because like Friedberg and Seltzer he brings in the utterly pointless and dastardly stupid to movie goers.

2. Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is torture. She's only made famous because of a sex tape that was released and now it's too much. She's appearing in every magazine that's in existence. What next? Time magazine? What makes her so good is that her reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians isn't popular like the Jersey Shore in which they're both the same show except that Kardashian and her sisters (who are the B-grade versions of her) do not start up a fight. I can't believe idiots would go searching for her ass online which is just so unimportant to Western civilisation. And appearing in every award ceremony with her big dress (no pun intended) just skims the limelight to actors whose there to show their graceful acting talent. And you lady got nothing. Appearing in Disaster movie does not start off your acting career.

And finally the NO.1 douche to take one step off Hollywood is...

Harvey Weinstein

This prick here comes to Hollywood to produce movies that are supposed to be good. I loved Pulp Fiction, one the few films in his resume as a 'producer' with the clever direction and script of Quentin Tarantino and such. Pulp Fiction was the only film I liked that has this dude credited. It would've won Best Picture had Forrest Gump didn't exist as a movie (by the way, I actually like that movie). But it's 1999 and Weinstein bribed every dumb voter of the Academy a luxury of lifestyle so that his film, Shakespeare In Love, one of the few movies served as producer, would win Best Picture over Saving Private Ryan. Why?

What bags me out about the Oscars is that for five years straight, no Hollywood film had won the Best Picture. The last film to do so was Martin Scorsese's The Departed which was made by Warner. Weinstein just comes to Hollywood to entertain the voters so they can reward his movies to the maximum amount. He may be revolutionizing how the Oscars would pick which ones are the best and it's usually arthouse junk. In 2009, you're responsible for sunbbing WALL-E and The Dark Knight at the Oscars for Best Picture. The Academy had enough of you so that's why they doubled the number of Best Picture nominees.

But it's the 83rd Academy Awards that captures everything I hate about Harvey Weinstein. The King's Speech, which he was an executive producer had won over The Social Network (which should've won Best Picture and Best Director, talking about social media and how it changes people lives for the better or worst). The Oscars is supposed to be about rewarding films based on its artistic aspects and entertainment. Because of this, I retract praise for TKS except for the outstanding performances of its cast. The Academy probably voted for that film only because it was a feel-good film and they are 57. But maybe because WEINSTEIN just gave them the same luxurious lifestyle to these dumbasses who don't know anything about movies. Harvey Weinstein is corrupting Hollywood because of his campaigns that has nothing to do with the greatness of his films.

People I wouldn't put on the list, but are close to being part of Hollywood.

Transformers: ROTF? This is rolling on the floor

D+ (1.8)

Before I get into the review, here's some interesting trivia about this film. When Transformers 2 was initially released, another movie released on the same week was The Hurt Locker. No kidding because both movies were completely different. One of them is bad, the other good. one won Worst Picture, but the other won Best Picture. And most importantly. One of them was a made by Hollywood, the other small yet independently produced.

Revenge Of The Fallen is taken from the third Star Wars movie Revenge Of The Sith. How would George Lucas react when he saw the movie and knew that the title was ripped off from everyone's 3rd favourite Stars Wars flick?

The first  Transformers was a pretty cheesy ride. I have to admit. I enjoyed the first movie. But what's most criticising about that movie is remember in the climax, it is kinda ridiculous that your home entertainment (an Xbox and your blender) would turn into a Deceptacon. I pretty much hated Shia's parents because they were as annoying as hell, but overall it is enjoyable however this repeats itself in the sequel. More ridiculous than ever

When I mentioned ROTF so much in my culture blog, I was merely confused on whether it was so bad the first time I have seen it. So I check it out again the second time. And the truth is... it was.

ROTF has little plot at all and given that the running time is 150 minutes, it's pretty hard to comprehend. But here's an outline: Sam Wickwicky (Shia Labeouf) goes straight to college where a second later the Autobots got him involved when they're still at war with the Decepticons. However they tell him that the Decepticons are bringing them with the Fallen which really hates humans. So basically they want to protect the human race.

The first act begins very silly with scenes of two dogs having sex together and I ask "Why?". Sam enters College and when there's a sorority girl that turns into a Terminator I ask the same question. The second act? Really stupid when you bring along Sam's dormmate and Agent Simmons in. That's where the human characters are reduced to secondary. By the end I was beginning to feel so angry because this movie was f**ked up and still audiences liked it. Those people were very young and this movie is kinda like junk food. You consume it it'll rot your brain.

This movie is a mess. The one thing director Michael Bay cares about are the robots. And it doesn't add anything for this movie. Apparently if you want to get closer with the action you can't. The scenes are badly edited, the cinematography is so terrible, probably one of the worst cinematography I've ever witness in a film and there are some confusions with the robots. Most of the Autobots are coloured, while the Deceptacons are grey. And when the Deceptcons are coloured for one moment I thought they were Autobots. Seriously I cannot tell which Deceptacon is Megatron and which is StarScream. However the biggest bullshit the robots faced is how they're treated. Obviously there is Mudflaps and Wheelie who speak in a rheotic African American dialect with a hip hop persona, but there were several decepticons that speak with a Sicilian accent. They're made to fart, one of them has two wrecking balls as their.... balls and a gremlin robot who is a perv.

This movie gets close into ripping off every movie you seen. This is one of the major problems with every one of Bay's movies. It rips off from Star Wars, The Matrix, 2001: A Space Oddysey to any sci-fi you loved.

Shia is made to scream his lines while Megan Fox.... I got to stop to give you some facts about Michael Bay and women. Bay should be well known for casting every hot actress there is (all of them posed for Esquire) in his films including Kate Beckinsale for Pearl Harbor, Scarlett Johansson for The Island and for the next Transformers (i.e. Dark Of The Moon) Rosie Huntington Whiteley who is a Victoria's Secret Angel. Bay doesn't do anything with his female characters leaving them to go around everywhere on the set. This is the same thing happening to Fox. No wonder she was replaced.

The parents are annoying as ever, Isabel Lucas completely has one facial expression and this had me literally going blind.

This movie marks the beginning of an era where the average moviegoer or the mass audience go to the movies where they've completely lost their minds on film. They completely forgotten science fiction movies before this were so great: The Matrix, Blade Runner, Close Encounter, Star Wars. Instead they are going to see this, Twilight, any movie that is completely mindless and is high on junk. Michael Bay started a phenomenon of Megan Fox, simultaneously he ruined the entire imagination of our pop culture. The younger audience would choose the dumbest over the smartest.

I won't say that this movie is bad to anyone who would have a conversation with me. It's just overrated.

Why Inception is ridiculed at my school and it will do the same to The Social Network

You know what. Honestly, my favourite movie of 2010 is Inception. Directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Leonardo Dicaprio. But then I find out something ridiculous and totally unpredictable. Everybody at school (and I'm going to tell you what school am I but it's under WSHS) hated this movie. They either seen it and hated it or just didn't see it and hated it. All from the trailer.

I went over to the At The Movies website, went into an article for Inception wherr David and Margeret gave it 4.5 stars each. If you want to see the whole review, click here

But when you look down, surprisingly some of the comments were mixed. People say they enjoyed it, but there were some comments down to zero stars saying it's the worst movie ever made. "It's illogical and I hate that". Here's one example:

Too much.
No subtlety.
Obvious, predictable and pretentious. Characters were cardboard cut-outs. Main plot device (getting Fischer to break up the company) was uninteresting and not worthy of the over importance placed on it by the film. Multiple dreams in dreams != complex stroyline.
When Cobb says "He'll go into Limbo, a world of pure subconscious" I couldn't help laughing, that was the line of too much for me
although, the idea of the Totem is very clever.

Seriously, these comments can be anyone who went into the movie and just wanted corrupt the website. But the truth is, these comments can be people from my school. Well, it can't be because nobody at my school actually watches the show where it was reviewed since it was aired on a public broadcasting network and...

Whatever. My school would ridicule me for watching Inception during the school holidays and not watching Grown Ups which they called it the funniest movie of the year. it woud have been said by breakfast shows. I wish they would have the proof to tell me that it was the dumbest movie made. But all I get is Leonardo Dicaprio is a bad actor. Look, whatever that is, these are just stupid reasons.

For instance, the scene where Joseph Gordon Levitt floats on gravity. That looks cool since there is minimal CGI used and the fact is punching a guy within zero gravity is awesome. The gravity brings Inception into a really climatic stage. Somewhere, I tried hard to find many themes. But I can find two: dreams and manipulation. Manipulating the mind into finding or searching a memento by their dreams. That was Cillian Murphy's role in here.

I really hate how people think of this movie and it's not fair to be slack to a movie when they never seen it. And I get pretty angry when I am being tormented for watching a really smart movie. These kids made me miserable. Besides I'm not a teacher, I'm a student at this school and I suffer that.

Well I'm not going to judge kids watching this movie based on their intellect, but the fact is teenagers would never get this movie. They'll never understand movies when they're an adolescent. They never wanted to be challenged by filmmakers. All they want is action. Inception supplied that. Teenagers want hot girls in their movies. Well... Inception put in Marion Cottilard, but I'm not quite sure if she's actually that sexy. But yeah. They like Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen beause they had all of that despite the fact that it lacks a story, there's no logic and it has the worst directing ever by Michael Bay! But I have to admit, I actually enjoyed that movie.

Now I wonder what will happen when The Social Network will come out. I think I would experience the same thing when I watch The Social Network, because they've never heard abourt rumours that Hollywood is making a movie about Facebook. IF they seen the spots on TV, they will get it but they won't see it. But if I seen it, I said it was great, they'll torture me with "that's movie gay".

The Social Network is getting universal acclaim currently receiving a 97% rating. The reason for this was because of the charismatic performances, beautiful cinematography, dark direction by David Fincher and witty dialogue from Aaron Sorkin.

But I'm not quite sure whether my school would see this because I just don't think they would go to movies that are really good. Try to ask a teenager had they watched There Will Be Blood. Chances are 1 in 10. They are unlikely to see that movie because the movie's really small and relies on word to word marketing.

The Social Network looks like a very small movie. It deserves all of the critical attention and once its released, it will beat many other films that were quite dull like Let Me In (which I think was a bad idea to remake this movie when the original was pure genius).

But this wasn't the only movie I'm worried about of what people think. Next week, I'm coming back to school and movies releaased that week are Resident Evil 4, The Town and Cyrus. I wouldn't be watching Cyrus becuase i thought it would have been predictable movie about a middle aged man meeting a single mother of a 23 year old son.

I'm going to see The Town, directed and starring Ben Affleck by the time its released. It's a box office success and also a critically acclaimed movie. I should think Ben Affleck must retire acting and do directing. He's like the next Clint Eastwood. The trailer was absolutely gripping and it might possibly be one of the most underrated movies of 2010. So that's why I wanted to see this movie. And I also like crime dramas situated in Boston.

But apparently, I'm not quite sure if the school had known anything about this movie. As far as it goes, I'm a 100% sure that the majority of the school is watching Resident Evil. I wouldn't want to watch that movie because it looks like The Matrix with a zombie set.

So as far as it goes, people would want me to watch the dumbest movie ever like they tell me to listen to the dumbest music ever and not letting me listen to my own music because they think is gay.

Back to The Social Network, and it's ironic that the majority of school use Facebook and will tank this movie since again they've never heard of it or they wanted to hurt me for watching really good movies.

Honestly I like being different to the whole school, but when I talk about what i like, I feel totally hurt and I feel miserable because they're totally ignorant, intolerant hypocrites. These people at WSHS do not tolerate what I like and it seems that as far as this go, I would go ahead calling everything they like gay.

Look, I don't know what it is about my school hating the movies I like, but apparently it might be the fact that I like The Hurt Locker over Avatar. Nobody in my school actually seen The Hurt Locker, but at least they heard that it won this year's Best Picture Oscar. The whoe school had seen Avatar and called it the greatest movie of all time because they have seen it in 3D and enjoyed the movie made $500 million for its special effects.

I'm getting tired of my school making fun of me and picking on me for the stuff I like. I can't talk about Inception because they hated that movie. I can't talk about Scott Pilgrim since nobody heard about it and if I talk about it, they will tease me for it. And if I talk about THe Town or The Social Network, they'll say "sorry, but we hate your movies".

So if I don't talk what I like, my life would be isolated and boring. And yet this school makes this boring.

I wished everybody cared about my movies because I wish people would tolerate what I like instead of saying they're gay without any reason. Because they ignore me when I said Justin Bieber is stupid to listen, and said bad things about my favourite bands Muse and Radiohead as well as Linkin Park. Or which actress I have a ccrush on. Nobody cares if I fallen in love with Scarlett Johansson or Anne Hathaway. But everybody cares about Megan Fox and she couldn't act a single cent. Now I'm almost on the verge of being virtually ignored by everybody. I didn't want to have attention, I didn't wish that people would see me as a smart person. But I wish people cared about my views.

But these are the movies I would like to see and I hope my mates at school would care and understand what are the things I like:
  • The Town
  • The Social Network
  • Tron: Legacy
  • The King's Speech
  • Black Swan
